Why do you love doing makeup?

“I love doing makeup because on the day of the person’s event it is just one less thing that they need to worry about and for me to so easily see a canvas and be able to create magic on top of that it just seems like a perfect fit.”

How did you get started in makeup

“My background in theatre actually. So I started in middle school and high school doing theatre and every time I was not on stage I was in the back room being like ‘Oooo extra makeupppp.’ Then when I got to college I had to pick like 3 disciplines within the theatre career. So I chose makeup, costume, and sound and lighting. Then I worked for a couple of theatre’s once I graduated, then I worked for myself for awhile, and a bit all over the place and now bridal!”

What is your favorite memory with Brite Beauty?

“It was one of my very first chances to work with Brite, and we were backstage doing the [Ese Azenabor] fashion show for Don Morphy and another woman’s amazing work. We got to work backstage and it was very Fashion Week vibes and very fast-paced. I got to work with another artist who was able to create a look that we all got to encapsulate all the models. We had like 30 minutes each and it was just like bam bam bam bam bam. It was very much the high-paced environment that I love to work with. It was a great time.”

What are 3 products you cannot live without?

“O my god, lashes, lip balm, and a blush. I will not leave the house if I’m getting ready without all three of those things.”

What is a fun fact about you?

“I host and produce a burlesque troupe in Dallas. So I am on stage and offstage, all just as fabulous.”

“Do not say you are sorry. We have got you in good hands. So you just sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience!”
