Why do you love doing hair And makeup?
“I love doing hair and makeup because it allows women to see and feel how truly beautiful they are! It is such a blessing to watch women’s facial expressions when you turn them toward the mirror and they see what we saw in them all along! Everyone is beautiful and I love helping others to see and feel this wonderful gift!”
How did you get started in hair And makeup?
“I began doing hair and makeup when I was transitioning from modeling to a makeup artist. Us girls would help each other do modeling test for out portfolios. I would do makeup/hair and someone else would bring clothes for our photo shoots. So after years of doing my own and other model’s makeup, it was a natural transition of things.”
What is your favorite memory with Brite Beauty?
“My favorite memory or memories so far have been watching the face of brides after they get their hair/makeup done, dress on and they look at themselves in the mirror, then they begin to get misty eyed because they feel so beautiful. There is no better reward than knowing they truly feel their best and are so thankful….. they call us hair and makeup fairies….that’s a great feeling….knowing that we helped make their their day so special!”
What are 3 products you cannot live without?
“Wow!!!! Naming 3 products I can’t live without is super hard because there are so many I LOVE!!!!! MAC Blot loose powder because it truly disappears, Bobbi Brown eye serum concealer (you can apply it over and over and it never gets cakey), YSL Touché Eclat Glow Shot, and the Chanel under eye concealer in the stick. If I were on a deserted island I would want these with me! Well that’s four, but I LOVE them all!!!”
Give us one pro tip for brides or busy women getting hair and makeup done?
“The one tip I would pass on to women before they come to see us is to make a storyboard of what they want their day to look like. Included in this is a pic of ther dress and how they want to look the day of their wedding. Then do all the prep work to their hair and face before they get to us. If you know your hair behaves better with a blow out first then do that or include that in the service we provide. Hair texture the day of is everything!!! Also if you are having skin issues start addressing this 3 months before with your skin specialist…… we will do everything we can possible do to make you glow from within… the rest is up to you!!! And we are always more than willing to go the extra mile!!”
